On a beautiful spring day of March 27, 1977, I encountered two historic figures in the same place, Washington Square Park. Philippe Petit who gained fame for his high-wire walk between the Twin Towers in 1974 showed his tightrope walk and juggling while at the center of the park David Peel was appealing his work.
